Factors Influencing the Formation of Zaynuddin ibn Nujaym as a Faqih

The eminent scholar Ibn Nujaym was one of the outstanding teachers of his time and ranked among the leading scholars who mastered the religious sciences, including the Qur’an, Hadith, and Fiqh. He acquired a profound command of Hanafi jurisprudence and developed a particular devotion to the science of Fiqh. This becomes evident through a study of the scholar’s life and biography. Accordingly, this study examines the factors and driving forces that influenced and shaped him as a jurist (faqih).
