"Secret Knowledge" of Folk Medicine in Uzbekistan: on the Example of Khorezm Region

The article is based on local written sources, scientific works of European, Russian and Central Asian researchers related to this topic, documents of the World Health Organization, state legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the protection of human health and preservation of historical and cultural heritage, students of Urganch State University during 1992-2022. It was prepared based on the results of the field-ethnographic practice and the author's personal observations.
