Abstract

This article gives the socio-psychological factors influencing the formation and development of emotional intelligence (EI) in school-age adolescents. It examines how peer relationships, family dynamics, and school environments shape adolescents' emotional awareness, regulation, and social skills. Additionally, it addresses the challenges adolescents face during emotional development, emphasizing the role of external influences and individual characteristics in fostering EI, which is crucial for emotional well-being and academic success.
