Abstract
The article is dedicated to analyzing contemporary trends in the development of construction terminology within the context of digital transformation in the industry. It explores key directions in the evolution of terminological frameworks, including the impact of BIM technologies, smart construction, the Internet of Things (IoT), and artificial intelligence on the emergence of new terms. Particular attention is paid to the adaptation of Anglicisms, harmonization of national and international terminology, and the standardization of terms amid growing international collaboration. The study examines prospective fields such as sustainable construction, circular economy, biomimetic technologies, quantum computing in design, and space construction, which are shaping new layers of professional lexicon. The necessity of balancing internationalization with the preservation of national specificity is emphasized, alongside the importance of developing mechanisms for terminology unification to ensure effective communication in the global construction sector.
