Extralinguistic Tools as Bridges to Understanding Cultural Differences: The Case of Uzbekistan and Korea

This article explores the features of extralinguistic communication in Uzbek and Korean cultures, highlighting differences and similarities in nonverbal interactions such as greetings, gestures, and physical contact. Through a comparative analysis of TV series and cultural practices, the authors emphasize the importance of understanding cultural nuances to ensure effective cross-cultural communication. The study provides insights into how nonverbal cues can either facilitate or hinder mutual understanding between individuals from different cultural backgrounds.
