Abstract
This article explores the linguocultural approach in teaching Russian as a Foreign Language (RFL), emphasizing its role in fostering intercultural competence and deepening cultural understanding. By integrating cultural concepts, realia, and symbols into language instruction, educators can create engaging learning experiences that bridge communication gaps and enhance students' appreciation of Russian culture. The study highlights innovative methods, including digital tools and interactive activities, while addressing challenges such as material scarcity and linguistic complexity.
