Abstract

This article studies the use of automated control systems to optimize the technological indicators of cotton ginning machines. Practical analyses have shown that real-time monitoring of the machine operation process, automatic control of parameters such as cotton flow, air pressure, drum rotation speed, and other factors increase efficiency by 18–22%. Also, a decrease in the level of waste, a decrease in energy consumption, and an increase in the share of clean fiber products are noted. The article covers experiments on the successful integration of control modules created on the basis of modern sensors, microcontrollers, and SCADA systems into technological systems.
