Abstract
This article examines the theoretical and methodological foundations of the linguo-cultural approach in teaching the Russian language. It explores the essence of this approach, emphasizing the integration of language learning with cultural understanding to enhance communicative competence. The article outlines key tasks such as developing students’ intercultural awareness, fostering respect for cultural diversity, and improving language skills through authentic cultural contexts.
