A Literary Exploration of Youth Psychology in the Uzbek Versions of Khaled Hosseini’s Novels

This article explores the depiction of adolescent psychology in the Uzbek translations of Khaled Hosseini's literary works, focusing primarily on The Kite Runner and related novels. It analyzes how emotional depth, psychological development, and inner conflicts of teenage characters are conveyed in the translated texts. Additionally, the study evaluates the strategies employed by Uzbek translators to preserve the psychological nuances and cultural connotations of the original works. By examining linguistic choices, narrative techniques, and contextual adaptations, the article highlights the importance of psychological realism in literary translation. The findings underscore the need for innovative, context-aware approaches in translation studies that address adolescent sensitivity and intercultural understanding.
