Abstract

This article examines the crucial role of physical education in promoting mental health and emotional well-being among students. It highlights how regular physical activity contributes to reducing stress, anxiety, and depression, while enhancing self-esteem, concentration, and social interaction. The study emphasizes the importance of integrating physical education into school curricula as a preventive and therapeutic approach to improve students’ overall mental health. Furthermore, it discusses the psychological benefits of team sports, outdoor activities, and fitness programs that foster positive behavior, resilience, and motivation for learning.
