Abstract
This paper explores how educators can utilize variety of multimedia texts, including literature, visual art, digital media, and so on, to develop students' critical thinking and analytical skills. It evolves pedagogical approaches and strategies that effectively engage students in analyzing and synthesizing information from multi-dimensional sources, fostering deeper understanding and critical inquiry. Additionally, the topic examines the role of technology in facilitating multimodal text analysis and its impact on student learning outcomes. Thus, it explores the significance of incorporating multimodal text and critical analysis in education through counseling to enhance students' critical thinking. It draws upon interdisciplinary perspectives and pedagogical approaches, at the same time examining the benefits, challenges, and best practices associated with the use of multimedia texts in the classroom.
