Abstract
This article discusses the place and role of philosophy in the modern scientific space, as well as its influence on the humanities, social life and cultural development. Various approaches to understanding the role of philosophy in scientific activity are considered and examples of scientific research are given that show how philosophy can help connect various fields of knowledge. The article notes that philosophy is an important component of scientific activity, as it helps to form the foundations and methods of scientific research and provides a critical look at existing knowledge. In addition, philosophical ideas can have a significant impact on social life and cultural development, since they can serve as the basis for various social and political movements and contribute to the formation of new values and ideologies.
