Abstract
This article explores the integration of Fergana-Tashkent maqom performance traditions into contemporary music education in Uzbekistan. Through a comprehensive analysis of historical practices and modern pedagogical approaches, the research aims to develop effective methods for preserving and transmitting this rich cultural heritage to new generations of musicians. The research provides practical recommendations for music educators and policymakers to enhance the preservation and evolution of Uzbekistan's maqom traditions within the framework of modern music education.
