Abstract
This article examines the theoretical and methodological foundations of social management and political leadership, focusing on key concepts, models, and challenges. Social management is explored through the lenses of systems theory, functionalism, and conflict theory, while political leadership is analyzed via charismatic, traditional, and legal-rational frameworks. Methodological approaches, including both quantitative and qualitative methods, are discussed in relation to leadership effectiveness and governance. The article also highlights contemporary challenges such as globalization, cultural diversity, populism, and political polarization. Finally, it identifies future research directions in digital governance, ethical leadership, and climate-related policies to address the evolving complexities of social management and political leadership in the 21st century.
