Abstract
This article discusses the reforms being implemented within the internal affairs bodies of the Republic of Uzbekistan, their legal and organizational-legal structures, as well as the new requirements being placed on the internal affairs system in the context of the country’s socio-economic and political development. The article examines key measures undertaken to improve the performance of internal affairs bodies, including reforms in the system of professional development and personnel training, as well as state policies aimed at ensuring public safety and protecting citizens' rights. It provides a comprehensive overview of the reforms carried out to enhance the qualifications and preparedness of internal affairs officers, aimed at increasing the reliability and efficiency of internal affairs bodies within society.
