Abstract

This article explores the concept of innovation latency—the delay between the development of an innovation and its widespread adoption. Despite the rapid pace of technological advancement, many innovations encounter significant delays before integration into mainstream systems. The article analyzes key internal and external factors that influence innovation latency, supported by literature, empirical analysis, and qualitative insights. It also provides strategic recommendations for reducing latency and optimizing innovation uptake in organizations and societies.
