Abstract
The paper explore the deployment of artificial intelligence in addressing the problem of out of school children in Nigerian Basic schools. The paper used secondary data. The secondary data were collected from both print and online publications. Content analysis was used to analyze the selection of literature for the study. The paper concluded that AI can be deployed in Nigeria to address the problem of out of school children. AI can be used to collect data on out of school children, analyze the data and used it to strategically plan education for the out of school in Nigeria. Based on the findings, the paper recommends that the government deploy technological facilities in the management of out of school children in Nigeria. The government should funding the commission in charge of management of out of school children in Nigeria to enable the commission go fully digital for the implementation of the commission mandate.
