Abstract

This article explores the significance of fairy tale therapy in fostering empathy and tolerance among preschool-aged children. It demonstrates how fairy tale therapy serves as an effective tool for shaping children’s personalities from an early age, nurturing empathy, tolerance, justice, equality, and compassion based on national values. The study examines, through practical experience, how national fairy tales influence the development of children’s positive emotional responses, compassion, forgiveness, and kindness. The research further compares the outcomes of children who participated in fairy tale therapy with those who did not, revealing its effectiveness in enhancing empathy and strengthening tolerance in social interactions.
