Abstract

Elite football performance depends on repeatedly producing high-intensity actions while maintaining tactical stability and minimizing overload-related performance decline. Clubs increasingly rely on wearable technologies and internal-load measures to guide training decisions, yet practitioners still face persistent issues: device validity during accelerations, inter-unit variability, and the “data-rich, decision-poor” problem.
