Abstract
This article analyzes the importance of modern methodological approaches and innovative technologies in the process of teaching history. Teaching history is not limited to conveying historical facts to students but is considered a complex pedagogical process aimed at developing their critical thinking, historical consciousness, and national awareness. The article examines the effectiveness of problem-based methods, project-based approaches, interactive methods, and information and communication technologies in fostering students’ independent thinking, analytical skills, and creative approaches. Integrating traditional and innovative methods in history education enhances learning quality and enriches students’ national and global historical perspective.
