Abstract

Artificial intelligence has already changed the way english is taught to speakers of other languages, and it is developing at a rapid pace. How artificial intelligence can personalize language learning and its pedagogical implications for tesol classrooms: A case study Drawing on a qualitative analytical method empowered by up-to-date literature and evidence to support the cases, the research considers the ways in which ai-driven platforms "adapt content, generate automated feedback, [and] assist learner-centered instruction. (more) The results show that ai technologies are able to maximize language learning by providing personalized learning according to a given level of proficiency, adjusting the speed of learning and monitoring performance patterns. Yet, issues surrounding ethical use, preparedness of teachers and over-reliance on technology are still prominent. The researchers believe that integrating artificial intelligence in the context of language education should allow AI to complement the role of human teachers, balancing human and machine support for maximum efficacy
