Abstract
This article analyzes traditional and modern methods in teaching history. It discusses the advantages and disadvantages of traditional methods such as lectures, notes, question-and-answer sessions, and summaries and modern methods, including interactive activities, multimedia tools, and project-based research. Furthermore, the article provides recommendations for combining both approaches to make history lessons more effective and engaging. The study aims to develop students’ historical thinking, independent reasoning, and active participation in lessons.
