Abstract
This article examines the role of synonymic series in avoiding repetition and enhancing aesthetic expression in English and Uzbek languages. The study focuses on the theoretical aspects of synonymy, the structure of synonymic series, and their stylistic functions in speech and written discourse. Using comparative and descriptive methods of linguistic analysis, the research investigates how synonymic variation contributes to lexical richness and expressive communication in both languages. The findings reveal that synonymic series play an important role in preventing lexical repetition, improving stylistic diversity, and enriching the aesthetic quality of language.
