Abstract

This article analyzes the place and role of internationalorganizations in the process of formation and development ofinternational environmental law. Within the framework of thestudy, the activities of international organizations such as the UN,UNEP, UNESCO, FAO, and UNIDO in the development andimplementation of environmental regulatory legal acts werestudied. The article examines the political, economic, and legalfactors influencing the development of international environmentallaw, highlighting the problems of balancing national sovereigntyand international cooperation. The research results show thatinternational organizations serve as a leading tool in ensuringenvironmental sustainability, but new innovative approaches andmechanisms for effective cooperation need to be developed. Thearticle confirms the importance of international organizations inimproving and implementing international environmental law andprovides recommendations for future directions.
