Abstract

A number of novel heterocyclic compounds were prepared, specifically pyrazoline compounds (A1-5), 4,5-dihydroisoxazole compounds (B1-5), derived from 1,9-Diphenyl-1,3,6,8-nonatetraen-5-one and its substitutes. These compounds have important uses in the fields of organic, medical and pharmaceutical chemistry. The prepared compounds were characterized using (FT-IR), (1H-NMR), (13C-NMR) techniques. Antibacterial activities of these compounds were proven against (Escherichia coli) and (staphylococcus) results were compared with ciprofloxacin, levofloxacin, and gentamicin.
