Abstract

The article presents experimental studies on the evaluation of the physico-chemical properties of the new mesh implant "Niprocel". A mesh prosthesis with a composite coating was developed for use in herniology in allogernioplasty of ventral hernias. This series of experiments is a mandatory preclinical study. It has been established that the polypropylene mesh meets the requirements for medical implants in terms of: bioinertness, biocompatibility, adhesion, strength, hemostatic effect, as well as the possibility of sterilization without disturbing the structure and properties.
