Theoretical Approaches To Deixis: Analysis And Interpretation

The article elucidates the pragmatic essence of the concept of “deixis.” The causes underlying the emergence of this phenomenon are explained. The level of investigation of the issue in both world and Uzbek linguistics is highlighted. The role and significance of deictic units in identifying the specific characteristics of children’s speech are discussed.
