Abstract

This article analyzes the institutional transformations and the autonomization of management mechanisms within the higher education system of New Uzbekistan. It examines the milestones achieved in granting academic and financial independence to higher education organizations, while identifying the emerging challenges associated with institutional inertia. Within the framework of educational reforms, the study develops evidence-based recommendations aimed at optimizing the management systems of higher education institutions (HEIs) and aligning them with international quality standards.
