Abstract
This article explores ecological ideas within Karakalpak folk pedagogy terminology and its reflection in modern pedagogical publicism. Developed in the harsh Aral Sea region, traditional didactics synthesize environmental empirical knowledge with ethical norms. Through precise terminological frameworks—including plant vegetation stages (kamis) and detailed youth age classifications—and oral folklore like dastans and zhuap, the culture cultivated ecological consciousness. Modern publicism bridges this traditional heritage with contemporary environmental ethics, offering vital educational strategies to address the region's current ecological crisis.
