Abstract

This article explores the essence and content of digital competencies and the scientific and pedagogical need for developing these competencies in students. It analyzes current issues related to developing students' digital literacy and skills in using information and communication technologies in higher education in the context of digital transformation. The article examines the key components of digital competencies, technologies, and methods for their development, and develops practical recommendations.
