Abstract
The article presents data on the regulation of the function of the female reproductive system and the mechanisms of coordination of the main links of the functional system. The menstrual cycle is one of the significant manifestations of the condition of the organs that regulate sexual function. In the occurrence of functional changes in the cycle, along with biological factors, the role of environmental influences has been identified.
