Abstract

Pseudomonas aeruginosa is a Gram negative opportunistic bacteria which is an important cause of diverse nosocomial infections. it is commonly difficult to treated or remove with traditional antibiotic therapy, particularly when established as biofilms (Soukarieh et al., 2018). P. aeruginosa is one of the most widespread Gram-negative bacteria causing nosocomial and healthcare associated infections (HAIs) in hospitalized patients particularly patients in ICUs. Rising rates of multi-drug resistant of this species in HAIs and among hospitalized patients is a major public health concern (Brooks et al., 2007; Raman et al., 2018).
