Abstract
This article analyzes the impact of excessive use of the internet and modern gadgets on human mental health (psycho-hygiene). While emphasizing the high importance of digital technologies in daily life, it is shown that their excessive use can lead to negative consequences such as stress, sleep disorders, attention deficit, and social isolation. The article analyzes the level of internet addiction among different age groups and outlines psychohygienic recommendations to reduce this problem. Solutions such as a "digital diet," breaks, physical activity, and internet literacy are also offered. The article is aimed not only at supporting a healthy lifestyle, but also at forming a culture of rational internet use.
