Abstract
Modern information technologies (IT) are fundamentally transforming oncology, offering unprecedented opportunities to enhance diagnostic efficiency, personalize treatment, and improve patients’ quality of life. This article examines the role of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning in early cancer detection and prediction, the application of big data and omics technologies in precision medicine, the impact of IT on therapeutic approaches including robotic surgery and new drug development, and the significance of telemedicine for remote monitoring. Key challenges, ethical, and legal aspects associated with the integration of IT into clinical practice are also analyzed.
