Abstract
In this study, the growth, development, and changes in morphophysiological and biochemical parameters of the aquatic plant Lemna minor under different growth conditions (light intensity, composition of the nutrient medium, and pH level) were studied. During the research, biomass accumulation of the plant, the number and size of leaf plates, the amount of chlorophyll, photosynthetic activity, and the amount of total proteins and pigments were analyzed. The obtained results showed that Lemna minor is highly sensitive to environmental factors and substantiated the possibilities of using this plant as a bioindicator and biotechnological object.
