Abstract
The article presents the results of a study on the effect of various nutrient media on the growth of mycelium and the productivity of the oyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus). The relevance of this work is due to the need to select affordable and effective substrates for the cultivation of edible mushrooms using resource-saving technologies. The aim of the study was to compare the growth of mycelium, the timing of fruiting, and the yield of oyster mushrooms using different nutrient media. The results showed that the composition of the substrate has a significant impact on the rate of colonization, biological efficiency, and overall productivity of the culture. The data obtained allow us to recommend optimal nutrient media for industrial and farm mushroom cultivation.
