Abstract
This study to compare Sevoflurane and Isoflurane as anesthetic elements for initiation. It was carried out in Baghdad Teaching Hospital which comprised 60 various patients of around 2 to 60 years of age.
Isoflurane was utilised in about 63.33% of different cases, basically owing to the its lower price and potentiality, whereas Sevoflurane was favored for pediatric cases because of its quick recovery and lower airway irritation. Both elements in the first instance, caused blood pressure changes, but values were normalized in 3 minutes. Sevoflurane exhibited a swift induction and sense of emergency to be compared to Isoflurane. The studied ultimately realized that Isoflurane is better for the management, whereas sevoflurane is good for fast processes and paedetric anesthesia. BIS observation was unavailable, so, the traditional monitoring was applied. The findings guide of that anesthetic choice based on patient and surgery type.
It was in this study that showed Isoflurane is better for the management. In long surgeries, whereas sevoflurane is necessary for the quick induction, outpatient processes. These findings help anesthesiologists choose the most suitable agent based on patient condition, surgery type, and recovery needs.
