Abstract
This study examines the conceptual foundations of youth travelability and proposes a multidimensional framework for understanding the factors influencing young people’s participation in tourism activities. Through content analysis and comparative analysis of international and academic approaches to youth travelability, the study identifies key conceptual limitations within existing interpretations. Based on the findings, a new conceptual definition of youth travelability is proposed, emphasizing its role as a multidimensional system shaped by the interaction of economic, temporal, social, psychological, digital, and infrastructural factors. Furthermore, a conceptual model consisting of six interrelated dimensions is developed to explain the determinants of youth travel participation. The study highlights the complementary relationship between tourism attractiveness and youth travelability and discusses the practical implications of the proposed framework for youth tourism policy and sustainable tourism development.
