Abstract
This article presents a comparative analysis of the English and Uzbek languages, examining their phonetic, morphological, syntactic, and lexical features. The study highlights both similarities and differences based on their typological characteristics, with Uzbek as an agglutinative language and English as an analytic language. It also analyzes the mechanisms of term formation, semantic processes, and the influence of historical and social factors on language development. The results obtained through the comparative approach are significant for translation practice, foreign language teaching methodology, and the development of terminology systems.
