Abstract

Objective: This article examines a methodology for developing the digital competencies of future teachers through the use of artificial intelligence technologies. Method: The study explores the didactic potential of AI-based platforms and services, highlighting their advantages in educational practice and their contribution to improving professional teacher training. Particular attention is given to the design of a methodological framework aimed at fostering digital competencies, including implementation stages, pedagogical conditions, and evaluation criteria. Results: The findings indicate that the integration of artificial intelligence tools enhances students’ abilities in information management, critical thinking, creativity, problem-solving, and collaboration within digital environments. Novelty: Furthermore, the proposed methodology supports the development of innovative teaching practices and promotes readiness for professional activity in a technology-driven educational environment. The study concludes that systematic use of artificial intelligence technologies can significantly improve the quality of teacher education and facilitate the formation of sustainable digital competencies among future educators.
