Abstract

This article discusses other aspects of a lawyer's fee. The legal nature of the restrictions on the engagement of lawyers in various types of activities and their role in ensuring the independence of legal practice are analyzed in a comparative legal manner. During the study, approaches in the legislation of the Russian Federation, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Korea and the United Kingdom were studied, and the specific aspects of the norms regarding the participation of a lawyer in the civil service, participation in entrepreneurial activities and other types of paid activities were highlighted.
