Abstract
This article investigates the scientific-theoretical foundations and international experience of implementing smart manufacturing systems in the grain processing industry. Within the framework of Industry 4.0 technologies, the study analyzes the impact of artificial intelligence (AI), Industrial IoT, Big Data Analytics, smart sensors, and automated monitoring systems on economic and operational efficiency in the grain sector. The experiences of countries such as Germany, China, and South Korea in deploying smart manufacturing technologies are comparatively examined. The research employs economic-statistical, econometric, regression, and trend modeling techniques. The results indicate that the integration of smart manufacturing systems reduces technological losses by 12–20%, cuts energy consumption by 10–15%, and improves the accuracy of product quality control by 25–30%. Furthermore, real-time monitoring systems and predictive maintenance enable the early detection of equipment failures. The article provides an analysis of global trends in the grain processing equipment market and AI-based food manufacturing technologies, presenting forecast indicators up to 2030. Ultimately, the study develops actionable recommendations for digitalizing the grain industry in Uzbekistan, gradually introducing smart manufacturing systems, and advancing AI-driven management mechanisms.Grain Processing Industry
