Abstract
This article analyzes the prospects for service sector development and employment in rural areas. The study substantiates the role of the service sector in economic growth, labor market stabilization, and income diversification in rural areas. Using statistical data and analytical methods, the impact of service sector development on employment is examined, identifying regional differences. Opportunities for achieving sustainable development by expanding employment in the non-agricultural sector and supporting small businesses and family entrepreneurship are also considered.
