Abstract

This article examines the theoretical and methodological foundations for enhancing the efficiency of communication and telecommunication services under the conditions of the digital economy. Digitalization processes have fundamentally transformed all stages of telecom operators' activities - from customer service to network infrastructure management - requiring the development of a new system of efficiency assessment indicators. The study reveals the essence of the concept of communication service efficiency, analyzes existing approaches to its assessment, and proposes a comprehensive methodological model for enhancing efficiency under digital transformation. The findings indicate that the introduction of artificial intelligence, big data analytics systems, and mobile platforms contributes to reducing operating costs, improving customer interaction, and increasing service quality. At the same time, the territorial unevenness of digital infrastructure, the shortage of qualified personnel, and cybersecurity risks are identified as the main constraints on efficiency improvement. The article concludes with practical recommendations for telecom operators, government bodies, and industry regulators.
