Abstract

Ethnographic tourism in the Republic of Karakalpakstan has great potential due to its cultural heritage, traditions, handicrafts, and historical monuments. However, its development is limited by weak management, low investment, and underdeveloped infrastructure. This study analyzes current conditions and proposes improvements to organizational and economic mechanisms. Key measures include creating an integrated management system, increasing financial support, promoting public-private partnerships, digitalizing services, and involving local communities. Implementation will enhance tourist flow, preserve cultural heritage, and support regional socio-economic growth.
