Abstract
The article proposes a model for assessing the economic security of service enterprises, which substantiates the interrelationship between the positive and negative impacts of the business environment, the level of vulnerability to risks, and strategic management mechanisms. Based on the research findings, a framework has been developed that enables the grouping of enterprises according to their level of economic security and the formulation of appropriate robust strategic measures for each group. The proposals developed in the article are of practical importance for ensuring economic security, enhancing competitiveness, and making adaptive management decisions in response to changes in the business environment in the Republic of Uzbekistan, particularly in the trade and public catering sectors of Samarkand region.
