Abstract

This article examines the issues of improving the efficiency of the deposit base of commercial banks in the context of economic reforms. Bank deposits, as one of the main sources of financial resources, play an important role in expanding banks’ lending capacity, ensuring liquidity, and strengthening their financial stability. The study analyzes the structure of the deposit base, its stability, maturity level, and its impact on the efficiency of banking activities. In addition, scientific and practical conclusions are formulated regarding increasing public confidence in the banking system, attracting long-term deposits, and improving deposit policy in the process of economic reforms.
