Abstract
This article analyzes the issues of improving the mechanism for developing business processes in the service sector in Uzbekistan. The study examines data from the State Statistics Committee for the years 2018–2025, Based on official data from the Central Bank and international organizations, the share of the service sector in the gross domestic product, the volume of market services provided, the participation of small businesses in the sector, and the level of digitalization were studied. The research methodology includes systematic, statistical-economic analysis, as well as trend and correlation-regression analysis methods. According to the analysis results, implementing Business Process Management (BPM) systems, digitizing processes, and transitioning to a customer-centric model in the service sector significantly increases economic efficiency. The study concludes with practical recommendations for service enterprises aimed at business process reengineering, the implementation of digital platforms, and enhancing staff qualifications.
