Abstract

This article explores the importance and main priorities of developing        a green economy in Uzbekistan. It discusses the environmental, economic, and social issues caused by conventional economic development models and underlines the need for sustainable development approaches. The research focuses on improving industrial technologies, expanding the use of renewable energy resources, and strengthening environmental reforms. It also examines the role of government initiatives and international partnerships in supporting ecological stability and green innovation. The study concludes that transitioning to a green economy is a necessary step for achieving sustainable economic growth, environmental security, and                long-term national development in Uzbekistan.
