Abstract

This article examines the assessment and analysis of structural changes in the leading sectoral structures of Bukhara region. The study focuses on identifying the main trends in the development of key sectors such as industry, agriculture, services, construction, transport and tourism. The article highlights that structural transformation in the regional economy is influenced by investment activity, modernization of production, infrastructure development, market demand and the expansion of value-added activities. Special attention is paid to the role of industrial diversification, agricultural modernization and the growth of the service sector in increasing regional competitiveness. The results show that Bukhara region has significant potential for sustainable economic development through the effective use of sectoral advantages, development of regional clusters, improvement of transport and logistics infrastructure and wider introduction of innovative technologies. The study concludes that balanced structural changes are an important factor in strengthening the economic potential of the region and ensuring long-term socio-economic growth.
